Cavanaugh Marketing Network Earns Industry Honor
Named Best Places to Work for Second Consecutive Year

The Cavanaugh Marketing Network, a member of the Advertising Specialty Institute (ASI), was named by ASI as one of the Best Places to Work in the industry. Cavanaugh was one of 75 such companies honored by the organization out of over 20,000 distributors and 3,500 suppliers.

The company ranked 45th, putting it among the Top 1% of companies in terms of employee satisfaction with their work environment. It was only one of two companies in the state of Pennsylvania that were so honored, with Cavanaugh being the higher ranked of the two. This is also the second consecutive year that the company has been recognized by ASI as one of its Best Places to Work.

"I have always made one of my highest priority goals the desire to make Cavanaugh one of the best places to work in America," said founder and president Pat Cavanaugh. "This honor we've received the last two years is a good start, but just a start."

Best Place to Work

The Cavanaugh Marketing Network has been named as one of the Best Places to Work in the Promotional Products industry by Counselor Magazine, the industry's major trade publication.

Cavanaugh was one of 60 companies so honored by the magazine, recognizing the finest workplaces in an industry made up of over 25,000 distributors and suppliers. The company ranked number 34, placing it in the top .01% of companies in the industry in terms of factors such as staff loyalty, trustworthy management, solid and motivating benefit packages, staff morale and overall team effectiveness.

"Along with our sales growth and customer satisfaction objectives, it's always been my goal to make Cavanaugh one of the best places to work in America," said company president Pat Cavanaugh. "This validates that many of the things we do for our employees are striking the right cord."

Westinghouse chooses Cavanaugh

The Cavanaugh Marketing Network announced that it was awarded the contract to build and manage an online employee store for Westinghouse's Nuclear Division, headquartered in suburban Pittsburgh.

Besides multiple locations in the Pittsburgh area, the Nuclear Division has almost 50 locations spread throughout 4 different continents across the globe.

The online store will feature over 400 items for both its local and worldwide employees.

Cavanaugh Lands Local Blue Chip Account

The Cavanaugh Marketing Network announced that it had landed the contract to build and manage Federated Investors online employee company store. Cavanaugh will build the Website and be in charge of sourcing all products and fulfilling all orders.

Federated Investors is a Fortune 500 financial services firm headquartered in Pittsburgh and considered one of the city's blue-chip corporations.

The company store will feature over 200 items that can be purchased by over Federated employees for personal or business use.

Aggelou Hired

The Cavanaugh Marketing Network announced the hiring of Sotiris Aggelou as Brand Manager for The Crons Brand, its national line of motivational team sports apparel.

Aggelou has recently retired from a 9-year professional basketball career in Greece, his native country. He played collegiately in the United States at the University of Pittsburgh and St. Francis College (PA). His responsibility will be to broaden the brand's awareness and sales to further penetrate the national market.

In making the announcement, Cavanaugh President and Crons Founder Pat Cavanaugh said, "Sotiris career uniquely portrays the mentality behind the brand. Having come to America to play basketball not knowing a word of English, he has overcome a lot in pursuit of his basketball goals with just plain hard work. He comes to Crons with the mentality of an athlete so I'm confident he'll be able to build Crons into a brand that speaks to the attitudes of young athletes who want to be successful."

Like a box of chocolates

The Cavanaugh Marketing Network has partnered with a national restaurant chain, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co, to provide private label sauces, candies, cookie mix, nuts and chocolates for the restaurant's gift shops.

The seafood restaurant chain, with a theme modeled after the 1994 Academy Award winning movie, has 21 locations nationwide as well as seven international restaurants. Cavanaugh was involved in logo development, package design, branding and sourcing for the Mama Gump's Kitchen line including products like Lt. Dan's Army Men, Forrest's Cajun Crunch and Bubba's Big Catch. There are 24 products currently being rolled out including the infamous Box of Chocolates.

Movin' on Up

The latest issue of Promotional Marketing Magazine-an independent publication dealing with the Promotional Products industry-listed the Top 50 Distributors in America. Just a few years ago, the Cavanaugh Marketing Network was ranked around 75th. In the latest rankings, Cavanaugh has climbed to # 34the highest ranking of any promotional products agency in Pittsburgh.

This is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire Cavanaugh Team over the last few years, said president Pat Cavanaugh. When we hit our goal for 2007 I expect us to crack the Top 25.

"Gross Profit Grows"

Pittsburgh, PA -- Cavanaugh Company President and CEO Pat Cavanaugh announced today that the company set its 12th consecutive sales record for 2005.

In addition to the revenue growth, the company recorded a significant increase in gross profit from 2004.

"We were able to forge some new partnerships in the retail, pharmaceutical and resort development industries that really allowed us to create effective programs with promotional products," said company President and CEO Pat Cavanaugh.

Pittsburgh, PA -- Cavanaugh partnered with teen retail giant American Eagle to create a blockbuster back-to-school promotion.

American Eagle awarded the company the job of replicating and customizing a Jack Spade designer split key ring & key for its major school promotion. Cavanaugh sourced and produced 1,000,000 units of the premium that were delivered on time for the retail giant's promotion.

"This was an example of our dedication to setting superior standards in client service, quality and attention to detail," noted President Pat Cavanaugh.

"This created a win-win situation with American Eagle experiencing one of its most successful back-to-school promotions ever, and us showing we have the capability to deliver a promotion of this magnitude."

"European Distribution Center Opened"

Pittsburgh, PA -- Cavanaugh company President and CEO Pat Cavanaugh announced today that the company had agreed to a partnership with a European firm to open a distribution center in Germany. The center will help service any of Cavanaugh's clients that have locations in Europe.

"We've entered some agreements with multi-national corporations that require that we have truly world-wide distribution capabilities that will minimize shipping challenges," said Cavanaugh. This is the first step in our making a commitment to better service for these clients."
